Worm Animation

This was probably my most favorite animation I've done with the introduction of the mesh tool. I decided to make my worm look like Griffin McElroy because why not. The "Griffin's Goobers" is an image made by Griffin making fun of those things. Making my animation was really fun, it allowed me to connect more with my friends who gave me ideas for this outstanding animation
I am very glad I learned to use the mesh tool, it's my most favorite tool ive learned. I will be using the mesh tool in the future hopefully!

Ball Animation

This is my ball bounce animation. I got it done really quickly since I was gone during the making of this animation and I didn't want it to get behind. During this simple animation I learned a lot. It dosent matter how it looks, what matters is what learned from this project. I choose a yellow ball since it would stand out against the sky and grass easily. I gave my grass a nice Birch-Tree color scheme because I thought it looked nice.
what I would do differently is clean up my squash and stretch, add more clouds, and fix some of the grass.

overall I learned a lot with this project and hope to continue

Photoshop reflection

What I learned

I learned a lot with the photoshop tutorials. Here are a few examples of what I have learned. I learned that the lasso tool can be very helpful to select areas to get a bigger or smaller radius. I learned how to add noise to an image for texture and how to remove dirt/blemishes/T-shirt logos. I also learned how to align a series of pictures for a more interesting composition.

Key tools

Some key tools you will use in photoshop are the Lasso tool, the spot healing brush, and the Clone stamp tool. These are just a few of the important tools in photoshop. The Lasso tool is important because it allows you to get a more exact selection of what you're looking for. The spot healing brush allows things like dirt and blemishes to be covered up. The clone stamp tool allows you to take different parts of the picture and implement it into different areas. It's very important when you need to get rid of a tree in the way or other objects.

My favorite skills

One of my most favorite skills I learned was just learning the ins and outs of photoshop in general. This skill can help me as I progress with my graphic design career. Another skill I learned was covering up graphics on Tee shirts which would be helpful in pictures to post online if the shirt's graphic is not ideal.

Strengths and Weaknesses

My biggest strength is that I've worked with photo manipulation before. I've used the clone stamp tool and some others as well. I did these things with an app on my phone but doing it with an actual program is a lot better. My biggest weakness would probably be layers. I always mess up with adding or merging layers because I always think "Yeah I'm done with that layer."

What would you do different?

I would probably took more time to make my edits look a lot nicer and cleaner. On some of them, it's way too obvious that I've edited it. I would also next time not take a week long vacation so I'm not so behind that I no longer have a chance to catch up.

What would you do the same?

I'd continue to add my knowledge of photo manipulation as I'm working that way I can apply the skills I already have.

Conclusions

I had a lot of fun learning more about layouts and photo tricks and editing. I hope I can apply my knowledge to more projects in the future.
